# How to Check Disk Space and Bandwidth Usage

Usage statistics help identify full mailboxes, large backups and unusually heavy traffic.

## Check Usage

1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
2. Open account statistics or usage.
3. Review disk space, bandwidth, email and database usage.
4. Use File Manager or mailbox statistics to locate large items.

## Common Space Consumers

- Old backups.
- Large email attachments.
- Website cache files.
- Error logs.
- Staging copies.
- Unused installation archives.

## Before Deleting

Confirm that files are no longer needed and keep an external backup of important business data.
