# How to Set Up Email on an iPhone or iPad

Use the built-in Mail settings to connect an iOS device to your Vertico-hosted mailbox.

## Add the Account

1. Open Settings and search for Mail Accounts.
2. Choose Add Account and then Other.
3. Select Add Mail Account.
4. Enter your name, full email address, password and description.
5. Choose IMAP.
6. Enter incoming and outgoing server settings.
7. Save the account.

## SSL and Authentication

Use SSL/TLS and require authentication for the outgoing server. The username is normally the full email address.
