# How to View Website Error Logs

Error logs show server and application messages that help diagnose website failures.

## Find the Logs

1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
2. Open Site Summary, Statistics and Logs or the domain log viewer.
3. Select the error log.
4. Reproduce the problem once.
5. Refresh the log and read the newest relevant entries.

## What to Capture

- Timestamp.
- File path and line number.
- PHP or server error text.
- Requested URL.
- Recent change that triggered the issue.

## Privacy

 **Important:** Logs may contain IP addresses and request information. Share only the portion needed for support.

If you still need assistance, open a support ticket through your Vertico client account and include the affected domain or email address, a screenshot of the error, and the approximate time the problem occurred. Never send passwords by email or support ticket.
