# Website Not Loading: Basic Troubleshooting

A website may fail because of DNS, hosting, SSL, application or local network problems.

## Check in Order

1. Try the website on mobile data and Wi-Fi.
2. Confirm the domain has not expired.
3. Check DNS and nameservers.
4. Test HTTP and HTTPS.
5. Open the hosting control panel and review service status.
6. Check disk usage.
7. Review error logs.
8. Undo the most recent change if safe.

## Report Clearly

Provide the exact URL, screenshot, error text, time and whether the issue affects everyone or only one network.
