This Fair Use Policy (FUP) is designed to ensure all clients using shared web hosting and email hosting—whether on capped or uncapped packages—receive stable, reliable, and high-performing service. By using Vertico Solutions’ services, you agree to abide by this policy.

1. Purpose
Our shared environment is intended for small to medium-sized websites and email accounts. This FUP ensures fair resource usage across all users and prevents misuse that may negatively affect others on the same server.

2. Capped Hosting Packages

Resource Limits Apply to:
– Disk Space
– Monthly Bandwidth
– Number of Emails, Databases, or Files (Inodes)

Usage Guidelines:
– Exceeding your plan limits may result in service throttling, warnings, or account suspension until an upgrade is made.
– File storage should only be for website and email use — not for backups, archives, or non-web-related files.
– Clients are encouraged to monitor their usage via cPanel.

3. Uncapped Hosting Packages

What “Uncapped” Means:

– “Uncapped” refers to no hard limit on bandwidth or storage, within reasonable and fair use.

Fair Use Includes:
– Hosting regular websites, blogs, or business emails.
– Normal daily web/email operations.

Unacceptable Use Includes:
– Hosting file-sharing sites, media streaming, or file repositories.
– Using hosting as a backup server.
– Sending mass/bulk emails or spam campaigns.

If Unfair Usage Is Detected:
– We may contact you to reduce usage or recommend a VPS upgrade.
– Persistent abuse may lead to suspension or throttling.

4. Email Hosting Rules (All Packages)

– Outgoing emails should not exceed 200 emails per hour per domain.
– Use of mailing lists must follow opt-in rules and anti-spam laws.
– Storage quotas must be respected.
– Emails flagged for phishing, spam, or malware will result in immediate suspension.

5. General Restrictions

Prohibited Uses Include:
– Hosting adult, illegal, or copyrighted content without permission
– Running heavy scripts that affect server performance
– Using shared hosting for resource-intensive apps

6. Monitoring & Enforcement
– We actively monitor server performance and usage patterns.

– We reserve the right to temporarily suspend, restrict, or request an upgrade for accounts exceeding fair usage.
– No penalties are applied unless abuse is persistent or harmful.

7. Policy Updates
This FUP may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of major changes via email or our website.
