DirectAdmin File Manager lets you upload and manage website files from a browser.

Upload Steps #

1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
2. Open File Manager.
3. Open the domain's public_html folder.
4. Remove or rename the default placeholder file if necessary.
5. Upload the website archive or files.
6. Extract archives inside public_html.
7. Confirm the main file is named index.html or index.php.
8. Open the domain in a browser and test.

Permissions #

Typical web files use 644 permissions and directories use 755. Avoid 777 unless a trusted application specifically requires it.
