Export with phpMyAdmin #
- Open phpMyAdmin.
- Select the database.
- Choose Export.
- Use Quick for a normal complete backup or Custom for advanced options.
- Select SQL format.
- Download and store the file securely.
Backup Frequency #
- Before every major update.
- Before installing an unfamiliar plugin or module.
- Daily for frequently changing business systems.
- Before moving servers or changing database structure.
Sensitive Data #
Important: Database backups may contain personal information and passwords. Store and transfer them securely.
