Install Safely #

1. Confirm the plugin is reputable and actively maintained.
2. Create a backup.
3. Install it from the WordPress repository or a trusted vendor.
4. Activate and configure it.
5. Test the public website and admin area.

Update Process #

• Read the changelog.
• Back up files and database.
• Update one major component at a time.
• Clear caches.
• Test forms, checkout and mobile pages.

Remove Unused Plugins #

Deactivate and delete plugins that are no longer required.
