Separate FTP accounts allow developers to access only the files they need.

Create an Account #

1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
2. Open FTP Management.
3. Select Create FTP Account.
4. Enter a username and strong password.
5. Choose the correct access directory.
6. Save the account.

Access Scope #

Use domain or directory-level access instead of full account access whenever possible.

Remove Old Access #

Delete accounts created for former employees, contractors or completed projects.
