Install a Theme #
- Create a backup.
- Open Appearance and Themes.
- Add or upload the trusted theme.
- Activate it.
- Review menus, widgets, logo and page templates.
- Test mobile and desktop layouts.
Child Themes #
Use a child theme for custom code so that vendor updates do not overwrite modifications.
