- Use the correct port and protocol.
- Restrict the account to the required directory where possible.
Connect and Upload #
- Open an FTP client such as FileZilla.
- Enter the hostname, username, password and port.
- Connect securely where supported.
- Open the local website folder and remote public_html folder.
- Upload the files.
- Verify file names, permissions and the homepage.
Security #
Important: Do not send FTP passwords through insecure channels. Remove temporary developer accounts after the work is complete.
Vertico Hosting Environment #
Vertico shared hosting runs on Linux and supports secure file management through DirectAdmin and compatible FTP clients.
Need Help? #
If you still need assistance, open a support ticket through your Vertico client account and include the affected domain or email address, a screenshot of the error, and the approximate time the problem occurred. Never send passwords by email or support ticket.
