Backups help recover from accidental deletion, failed updates and security incidents.
Create a Backup #
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Open Create/Restore Backups.
- Select website data, email, databases and settings as needed.
- Start the backup.
- Download or copy the completed archive to a separate safe location.
Restore Carefully #
- Confirm the backup date and contents.
- Create a copy of current data where possible.
- Restore only the required components.
- Test the website, email and databases after restoration.
Backup Rule #
Important: A backup stored only inside the same hosting account is not sufficient protection against account loss or server failure.

If you still need assistance, open a support ticket through your Vertico client account and include the affected domain or email address, a screenshot of the error, and the approximate time the problem occurred. Never send passwords by email or support ticket.
