WordPress can be installed using an application installer or manually.
Before Installation #
- Point the domain to hosting.
- Issue SSL.
- Choose whether WordPress will use the root domain or a subdirectory.
- Create a backup if the domain already contains a website.
Install #
- Open the WordPress installer in DirectAdmin.
- Select the domain and HTTPS address.
- Choose the installation directory.
- Set the site name and administrator details.
- Use a unique admin username and strong password.
- Complete the installation.
- Log in and remove any unused default content.
